What is a frog blog?
When you think of it, what could be more inspiring for a blog than a frog? Not only that it rhymes with "blog" but also...
- it is small, vulnerable, cute, nice and peaceful!
- it is, in a way, a Swedish national symbol. It was even at least once used by the Swedish embassy in Paris to have a French-Swedish girl wanting to keep her Swedish citizenship prove her swedishness. Here's an article about it for the Swedish readers!
- "frog" also refers to a part of a violin bow.
- if you kiss (or click on it...) it may become a prince!
- the famous Greek comic dramatist Aristophanes wrote a drama called "the Frogs" where a frog choir exclaims the famous "Βρεκεκεκὲξ κοὰξ κοάξ" meaning "Brekekekex, koax koax!"
- in Swedish a "frog" (Sw. "groda") can also be a kind of lapsus linguae, something said inadvertently, which just jumps out of your mouth before you had the time to think.
- a frog's perspective - sometimes it's good to be "down there"...
